Distance-selling withdrawal (proposed)
For engagements concluded remotely without face-to-face meetings, Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act provides a seven-day withdrawal period for applicable distance contracts unless exceptions apply. Proposed baseline — pending business confirmation.
Services already started
If you request immediate commencement of custom analysis before the withdrawal period ends, you acknowledge that completed work and delivered reports may not be refundable once consumed with your consent.
Deposits
Project deposits are applied to the final invoice. If you cancel before work starts, deposits are refunded minus reasonable third-party costs already incurred (for example, paid tooling), documented on request.
Cancellations by client
Cancel in writing by email. Work performed up to the cancellation date is billed per the statement of work. Scheduled workshops canceled with less than five business days’ notice may incur up to fifty percent of the scheduled day fee.
Cancellations by us
We may cancel if access prerequisites are not met after reasonable notice or if conflicts of interest emerge; prepaid unused fees are refunded.
Refund method
Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method when possible within fourteen business days.
Non-refundable items
Third-party licenses purchased specifically for your project and rush fees explicitly agreed in writing are non-refundable once ordered.
Rescheduling
One reschedule per workshop block is included with seven or more days’ notice. Additional changes may incur administrative fees.
